The LA Times Burt Prelutsky Writes About Feinstein,Pelosi,Boxer and Waters

Dianne Feinstein: “All vets are mentally ill and government should prevent them from Dianne-Feinsteinowning firearms”

“Frankly, I don’t know what it is about California, but we seem to have a strange urge to elect really obnoxious women to high office. I’m not bragging, you understand, but no other state, including Maine, even comes close. When it comes to sending left-wing dingbats to Washington, we’re Number One. There’s no getting around the fact that the last time anyone saw the likes of Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, Maxine Waters, and Nancy Pelosi, they were stirring a cauldron when the curtain went up on ‘Macbeth’. The four of them are like jackasses who happen to possess the gift of blab. You don’t know if you should condemn them for their stupidity or simply marvel at their ability to form words.”

  1. Did the LA Times get hacked? How did this logical, cogent and timely piece get in there?

I may have to consider subscribing!

    1. Amazing —- Is the “LA Times” finally figuring out that we are tired of their Liberal ways or maybe it’s that they have figured out people who work in the private sector for a living can actually read and buy a paper? I am sure the State’s takers (public employees, welfare recipients, disability recipients and retirees without pensions or savings) will be up-in-arms about Burt’s article.
Great to see articles like this. The rest of the country is watching California in total amazement at the people we continue to elect.

      1. There just aren’t enough adjectives: Incredulity, disbelief, amazement, astonishment, skepticism, wonder

      1. Let’s not take back California, let give it to Mexico! Nothing good is coming out of California! I can do without the entire state frankly!

  2. I have been thinking the same thing since I moved here 17 years ago. How did the voters of California find so many of these women to vote into what seems like perpetual office. They often say outrageous and what should be embarrassing to themselves statements but Californians still keep voting them in. This state is really in the stage of destroying itself.

    1. Kaliforniah Krats have the elections easily rigged for 7 decades to say the least. There is no doubt that they are parasites off of your hard earned pay check. I have even seen Boxer crying on the house floor in the old days begging for higher taxes. I’m guessing to cover her lavish pig at the trough lifestyle and for us to cover for their theft by earmarking bills.

      1. guess it doesn’t matter any longer. Even though Boxer is retiring, her efforts to fundamentally change policy and law will be in effect long after she has gone. This will not be good. She was not a good steward of the state of California.

  3. Agree. The wicked witches of the west have outlived their usefulness. Time for Dorothy to come along and drop a house on them 😉

    1. Amen and Amen!!! How dare she say such an outrageous thing. Let’s get rid of these idiots. California is a laughing stock in politics. Obviously she does not have children …or family members that are vets. Unbelievable.

  4. Mr Prelutsky, there is a website named “snopes.com” that many people use to verify these kinds of statements.Maybe you should try it.

    1. Mr. Garner alludes to “…Snopes.com” as some sort of internet authority when it comes to determining an articles integrity. I wonder if he has ever verified Snopes regarding their integrity and agenda; just might find a fox in the hen house . . .

      1. Snopes certainly isn’t perfect, and they’ve been caught stretching the truth once or twice. But in general, they provide verifiable references and do a decent job at debunking. Snopes aside, if you go to the LA TImes web page, or to Burt Preltsky’s web page…. you won’t find the mythical article or the fake quote from Feinstein. It’s stories like this that expose just how stoopid and gullible the American voter is…. and that’s why Gruber said the voter was stupid. Both sides of the aisle are boneheads.

Consider this: “I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crises. The great point is to bring them the real facts.” – Abraham Lincoln. In other words, the people are too stoooopid to figure out the truth, so it must be given to them.

    2. Wow, are you really that naive? Snopes is notoriously pro Democrat and is notoriously erroneous when it comes to checking out comments by Democrats where it denies they said it, despite having verification of the fact that they did.

      1. Right on regarding Snopes. Definitely in the lib. pile. Good article and I wish California would please get congressmen and women in the calif. and federal level who actually speak for the voice of reason.

      2. To Phil (Dec 2, 2013): Do you perhaps have a good example of the obvious bias perpetrated on us by Snopes.com ?

        Ken

      3. That’s right! Everything that doesn’t fall in line behind your right wing extremist perspective is “pro-democrat”. Keep watching Fox and listening to Rush Teabagger. You’ll eventually pass 3rd grade.

        1. You are the same sort of fool who thought that Joe Stalin was a really great guy, and that the Soviet Union was the future of humanity. Bet you thought Mao was swell, too.

      4. Keep you head in the sand; maybe when the radical right gets control and bombs begin dropping on your head and those of your family, you might reconsider your radical right-wing position. The GOP is never happy unless it is fomenting, engaged in, perpetual wars….of course, the big guns (monied interests) make tons of money from warfare and that is where their love is manifested.

    3. http://www.fromthetrenchesworldreport.com/snopes-got-snoped/60681 Maybe you shouldn’t use Snopes, Gene? like it says here, about it’s only use, too often, is when it provides links to other sites that actually do research. I’ve personally heard that they are pretty good on anything that’s not political or religious. Of course, being biased and 3rd rate amateurish in political and religious matters wouldn’t cause anyone with much sense to believe them. If people are lacking information, as you seem to say (and I agree) it only makes sense to me to get information on the sources where information comes from. Snopes has never meant much to me, even when I agree with some of what they post. It’s just never come across and infallible, and that was before I realized they were left leaning dishonest hacks. Now, I don’t bother going there, ever.

  5. Finally a newspapers writes something that is true AND correct !!! Thanks Mr. Prelutsky. These wicked witches of the west are the biggest idiots ever. How could anybody with a smidgen of common sense ever vote for one of these pompous out of touch with reality jackasses?

    1. It’s true that Senator Feinstein did not say exactly these words. It was a discussion about a proposal submitted by Senator Cronyn. However she misinterpreted the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) by atributting to Iraq War and she received a caustic rebuttal for that. But all being said I totally agree with the tone of the article and the “strange urge to elect obnoxious women to high office”in California. Let’s face it: they are obnoxious! And furthermore they all benefitted from their elected positions.

  6. I’m so happy to know there’s someone out there writing for the press who isn’t brain dead. Amen Amen!!!

  7. Burt singled out a few California women in high office he referred to as “jackasses.” If Burt’s articulate analysis has any validity, he should have included Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann, just to name a few.

    1. Only one problem which I’m sure you over looked intentionally, Palin nor Bachmann are from California, and hardly in that same bowl of fruits and nuts.

  8. I am very pleased to see that there are still some news people with Integrity and who tell the real truth. Thank you Mr. Prelutsky. These things need to be said and not just in California.

  9. I wonder how long Prelutsky: a] has worked there? and b] will keep his job? I wish him the best of luck.

  10. I believe that the 3 ugly abortion obsessed insider trading cradle to grave witches have had their elections rigged by the communist extortionist demokrats here in kaliforniah for their entire 40 or 50 year terms. Useful idiots doesn’t even come close to explain the comatose zombies in this state.

    1. If you don’t like it, move to Arizona, Wyoming or Texas. You would really do well in Mississippi.

  11. Thank you Mr. Prelutsky. You are an insightful and honest man which is rare among journalists these days.. I look forward to reading more of your observations.

  12. Mr. Prelutsky as a veteran I can say there can be nothing lower then a snakes belly when someone speaks about veterans in such a way. I do have a few things in common with them. Two arms, two legs, ect. I do not understand why California has these people in office.

I am a combat veterans who came home a complete mess because of my position at the time of an attack on one of our ships. It is bad enough to have ones family in a turmoil after returning home, but to come home to people like Feinstein, Pelosi and such is the ultimate in disgrace. “A nation is no better then the way it treats its veterans”.

  13. We have a couple more U.S. Senators here in Washington State that can be added to the list of crackpots, plus a U. S. Representative named McDermott. Must be something the potheads or queers have put in the water.

  14. I disagree with the columnist and many of the comments here. These four woman are my heroes. We have so few
women who are brave enough on the political left. I find fault only when I think they are too centrist. This Michele
Bachmann and that nutzi Sarah Palin and you have real idiots. And a couple of so-called journalists on that infantile Fox News TV channel.

    1. I really like Palin, Bachmann not so much.I can appreciate why lefties hate both of them. You have to admit though, there are no four women combination in the world that can match these four for stipidity. Wait! Shelia Jackson Lee could make it a fivesome.

    2. I’m reading this late, but felt compelled to point out a minor detail in your remarks. I understand that you like those four left-leaning women. However, you don’t have a clue what the word “hero” really means, do you?

      1. I don’t think you read this closely at all or maybe you have trouble reading and comprehending what is written. If the later is the case, call me and I will help you.

  15. So true and so refreshing to read in a CA newspaper. I am so sick of the stupid, psycho women politicians we have in CA. Could CA finally get rid of these corrupt and hateful hags. Feinstein has stuffed enough taxpayer money in her & her husband’s pocket. If these women are the best CA can do, Californians should stop breeding.

  16. The criminal extortionist Krat machine has boxes of fake ballots stashed everywhere before the elections. They use them when needed in close elections. How else could these parasites get elected for what seems like 50 years straight. Talk about a banana republic. Kaliforniah is DINGBAT REPUBLIC.

  17. Hey There. I found ones blog page the usage of msn. That is a particularly well written content. My business is bound to take a note of this and return to understand additional of your respective tips. Appreciation for a post. I most certainly will absolutely return.

  18. Don’t trust snopes….they get it wrong many times. Finally LA Times is telling it like it is. Maybe, just maybe the media is getting tired of covering for the far left.

    1. Oh yes. Don’t trust snopes? Why should we trust this bozo that wrote this? Better get used to these women. Hillary is our next president. Remember what I said. ha.

  19. This is truly the most sexist thing I’ve ever read. Why must you attack their gender? Shouldn’t your problem be with their ideas and actions? To reduce them to simple babbling females just makes you look petty. Address the issues, not the fact that they are women. This is what you call a logical fallacy because you are trying to win an argument by proving an irrelevant point. They are women therefore we should be amazed that they can even form thoughts? No. They teach you not to do this in High School. Now, I could easily do what you have done and claim that your gross ignorance is because of your age or your gender (old and male – lack of attention to detail – self-centered) but I won’t. It doesn’t matter that you’re male, your argument is still offensive and wrong. It would be just as offensive and wrong if you were a female. Understand?

    1. Anna, the column would be equally as effective if there were 4 men in these positions with the results they orchestrate and support. You demonstrate that which you criticize – views founded on emotion vs. results. Understand?

      1. Hey Steve, keep watching Fox. Eventually you’ll pass 3rd grade. If your depression continues, listen to Rush. His hypocrisy should lift your spirits.

        1. Thank you and for your information I have gone way beyond third grade I am not depressed and I find the hypocrisy in the people who do not stand for the original tenants of our constitution but remain living in this country sucking the blood of its benefits.

    2. Anna, just by your comment, you brand yourself as a “sexist”. I believe these people’s gender has absolutely NOTHING to do with their level of incompetence.

I repeatedly vote AGAINST reinstating these individuals to no avail. The sheeple keep voting them in.

Laziness, apathy, or just plain ignorance on the part of California constituents is appalling to me.

  20. It has been a long time since this newspaper has been willing to admit the truth about CA politicians! A welcome change.

  21. Late breaking news: pigs seen flying over the Golden State. The LAT has been a reliably Demonrat and socialist paper all my adult life.

  22. Dear Dianne Feinstein, I’m a Veteran, who worked on the internet before you knew it existed. I Also studied under the Assistant Secretary of War for ???? and finally offered to worked in the War Room in the White in ??? How could you make a remark like that agains’t my fellow brothers! Because of the Veterans in this country, you are safe to make those remarks like that without fear. We will still protect you now and forever! You will never understand, because you have never served in the armed services! Of this Great Nation! May the Blessings of G. be upon you and Yours and the LA Times!

    1. Hey Johnnie

I’m a Viet vet, an attorney and former state prosecutor. Try researching the source before responding blindly. That way, you won’t open mouth and insert foot.

      1. Really – so this was not reported by the LA Times Please support you position and enjoy the taste of you feet.

      2. So, Mr. Attorney, you don’t understand the difference between ‘To’ and ‘too’? I think it’s a fair question, and as for your writing, in general, while I’m no expert, I would have guessed you barely got your high school diploma? and if you barely got your high school diploma I’d like to know in which other country did you get a law degree, and where have you passed the bar exam? I’m looking for a new trade to practice, myself, and politician is too sleazy. Maybe I’ll be an attorney?

  23. I was sent a “FW” of this “NEWS” story this morning in an email by one of my Republican friends.

But, unlike the majority, (if not ALL who posted a REPLY), I did the research to “Find the FACTS”…which unlike the FOX “Entertainment” Channel and the vast majority of Repubilcan’s, (mainly from States like, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, West Virginia and many other self-proclaimed” REBEL, deep southern States, whose literacy rates are among the lowest in the nation and who “must” watch FOX to formulate an opinion, only due to the fact they can’t READ a newspaper, if their tiny little towns could even print one)…ever bother to do…and the FACTS are this:

    1) Burt Prelutsky “is” a columnis for the LA Times.

    2) The article he wrote was NOT published in the LA Times, it was first published in a “Get Government Out of the Way” Internet BLOG on April 11, 2013.
(So check your sources or just READ the Title)

    3) What Feinstien said was taken purely out of context…Kinda llke the “title” of Prelutsky’s article that have most of you believing that it was actually published in the LA Times.

Now, I’m not enamoured with either Political Party – they both have their “LIFETIME” appointments in Congress… (If you don’t like it, VOTE for “Term Limits”)…but I do make an effort to see “both” sides before posting some inane comment.

At the end of the day, our Government, is for the most part, made up of a dysfunctional group of narcisistic politicians whose decisions are formed by the big corporations in their respective states who PAY to get them elected and whose agenda, once in office, is to “pander” to these groups as opposed to doing what’s in the best interest of their constituency.

A prime example of this would be cutting government programs for the poor. The states listed above have the most “per-capita” recipients! And these “SHEEPLE” would be the first to complain to their elected officials, if their government funding was cut!

Look, both parties have, The Good, Bad & The Ugly”…but these posts/comments are just “Bad & Ugly”.

Most of these comments appear to be written by people who are educated and well read…but even Comic Books have have “some” intelligent following.

    1. Kevin… The title does NOT say that it was published in the LA Times, it’s saying that the writer is from the LA Times, and I think there’s a lot more of us out there that figured that out than you give credit. I lived in the “south” for a short time and the people I met were not illiterate and didn’t have to watch a tv channel to garner an opinion. You on the other hand.. well, I won’t be nasty like you and say anything rude to or about you. I’ll just leave it as is except to say there are some truly intelligent and articulate people living in the south. Now I don’t watch Fox News myself except when I’m at my sister’s because her husband enjoys watching it, but they seem to be a lot more factual than many of the news stations I have watched!

  24. OMGosh. I live in California born and raised here. Boy he nailed it. LOL I don’t know how those “people” (not sure if I should call them women.) keep getting re-elected! Is there just a few of us left in California capable of thinking for ourselves and seeing them for what they are??? I’ve given up watching any movie where the lead is a liberal democrat! Needless to say I don’t watch many movies. LOL I’ve written to Feinstein and Boxer. I received only ONE response from Boxer’s office but I have to admit I’ve received several from Feinstein’s. And hers say.. not in these exact words of course, but pretty darn close… “Thanks for contacting me. Your opinion is important to me. But I know better than you, what is good for you. ” I’ve pretty much given up writing her any more cause she doesn’t listen to her constituents anyway.

  25. Well I wrote that ass an email and told her off. How dare she say such things about Veterans. Who the hell does she think is protecting her ass. She probably doesn’t even know what end the bullet comes out of a gun. I would go on but the way I feel now I better stop. She better have a good come back.

  26. Author Ayn Rand’s description of a dying, liberal America — read ATLAS SHRUGGED! — was right on target. Phony humanists like Pelosi, Feinstein, Boxer and Waters remind me of the character Ivy Starnes from her brilliant novel, whose alleged, loving concern for the downtrodden belied her deep-seated hatred for mankind, especially for the strong…the able…the productive…the intelligent…the wealthy. If Rand were alive today, she’d have branded that four-member cult of stupidity KILLERS OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT.

  27. No matter if this quote attributed to Feinstein is stretched…..all in all he’s absoultely correct in his analysis of these women.

  28. Thanks, Anna, for a well expressed and logical comment. I’m not from California (from Wisconsin, actually) but I’m depressed at the low level of discourse that the majority of those writing engage in. It is as repulsive as Burt Prelutsky’s original slanderous misrepresentation of Diane Feinstein’s dialogue during the hearing. You don’t have to like Feinstein to be offended when she is treated in the fashion Prelutsky treats her. I’ve suddenly developed a major mis-trust of the L.A. Times for even printing such a piece.

And as for Snopes, I’m still waiting for any of those who claim it is biased or inaccurate to give one good example of an inaccurate article on Snopes. Articles that contained inaccuracies which were later acknowledged and corrected don’t count, of course.

    1. Hey Janr:

If Kevin Conboy is to be believed (See his comment above), LAT did not print the article attributed to it.

“The article he wrote was NOT published in the LA Times, it was first published in a “Get Government Out of the Way” Internet BLOG on April 11, 2013. (So check your sources or just READ the Title) – See more at: http://stevereports.com/2013/04/the-la-times-burt-prelutsky-writes-about-feinsteinpelosiboxer-and-waters/#comment-4121

    2. You are also on point with the Snopes bashing. I’d like to see an example also. Actually, all right wing zealots attack the messenger when the message does not align with their beliefs.

  29. I can’t begin to express how much joy I have gotten over the years reading, re reading and sharing this article with people. It’s pure joy to know that at one journalist (I know there are more, no offense intended) in California has common sense, guts, and great witting ability to boot! Burt thank you so very much for this piece of work!

  30. How can anyone be so “Stupid” Senator Feinstein it’s time for you to go play with your grandkids.

  31. Since Obama has been president the democrats have salt to change the way US politics in this country, they have created, racial, class, financial and political, divides aswell as changing our constitution to fit their agenda for this country. Now with OBAMACARE forced on the US papules , many will owe many to the fedral government and possible prison for nonpayment of fines to the IRS, which will create a slve cast in this country, welcome to’PLANTATION OBAMA”!

  32. Glad a reputable newspaper reporter had the courage to call those dumb lousy hating congress bitches what they are. I’m just concerned why voters in the Great State of California elected them. Must be a lot of dead people voting?

  33. Would some one PLEASE TELL ME WHERE IN THE HELL I’M SUPPOSE TO FIND THE “TRUTH”? Can you really believe ANYTHING YOU READ or See for that matter, no matte where it comes from? I heard once “I like your words, but I Trust your Actions. In that case the politicians and
government is in Sad shape and getting worse by the year. Heaven help us all!
